This is a stand-alone episode between the first and second seasons, and our release is in the MKV (Matroska) format, soft-subbed in English and German. It has two English sub tracks, called “Regular” and “Full”. In this episode, often Fine, Rein, and Poomo are talking in the foreground while there are some background lines (which are not very audible). In “Full”, both are subtitled; in “Regular” (which is the default), the background lines are not subtitled unless clearly audible.

Translation Notes

Gretel Star, the
Originally グレーテル星 (Gurēteru-Boshi, “Gurēteru Star”), this is the home world of Fango. Gurēteru is the Japanese version of Gretel, the famous fairytale character from Hansel and Gretel, and at the same time, it sounds almost identical to gureteru, the Japanese word for “to be disobedient; to be a problematic student”. [Ref. ja.wiktionary: ぐれる; not in en.wiktionary]
Disciplina Star, the
Originally フーキ星 (Fūki-Boshi, “Fūki Star”), this is the home world of March. Fūki is just the name of her star, but the only possible meaning of the word in Japanese is “the [proper] way of life; proper modesty; (school) discipline; condition where everything is tidy and proper”. [Ref. zh.wiktionary: 風紀; not in ja/en.wiktionary]
